Parmonie are leaves made with Parmesan cheese, born to the capable hands of the baker of Bibbiano, a little town in the Reggio Emilia province, where hundreds years ago was invented the Parmesan.
They represent the most complete synopsis of Emilia, land with great traditions but always forward-looking. Infact they maintain all the taste poetry of the traditional Parmesan cheese but, at the same time, they represent a new and captivating product, ideal for everybody at every hour of the day. Infact, thanks to their health and nutrients richness, they are indicate even for children.
The great quality of this product is due to its highest quality ingredients, such as Parmigiano Reggiano P.D.O. aged for 24 months and olive oil obtained from the Tuscan hills, and its oven baking without the addition of preservatives and colourants.
Parmonie are packaged in bowls or bags with a protective atmosphere, in order to guarantee the freshness and the aroma of the product for more than six months.
Parmigiano Reggiano used for the production of Parmonie contains neither lactose nor galactose.
In the hours immediately after the cheese making occurs a rapid development of lactobacilli, that ferment all the lactose present in the curd in about 6-8 hours.
Even galactose, which is formed by lactose, is metabolized rapidly and within 24-48 hours it disappears completely.
That's why Parmonie are an ideal product for those who are lactose intolerant.
